Men

In addition to growth and outreach opportunities, Grace Church’s Men’s Ministry includes a range of service, group, and retreat activities through which friendships are formed, strengthened, and reflect the love we have for Christ, each other, and the community. The men gather at 7p.m. at Grace House on the first Thursday of each month to worship our Lord together with a meal and fellowship.

The Women's Ministry at Grace Church encourages each woman to grow in the grace of the Lord Jesus and in His beauty by helping her to learn of her ministry at home, at church, and in the world she touches. This is done through the study of God's Word, through fellowship, and through outreach.

This year our children are beginning a new program called 252basics. This program is based on Luke 2:52, which says, “Jesus grew in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and men.” 252basics takes this verse and builds upon three basic truths:

1) I need to make wise choices
2) I can trust God no matter what
3) I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

The program takes one virtue a month, such as compassion, respect, or humility, and teaches the children to apply it to their daily lives.

The focus of our Wednesday night is the translation of our life as disciples into our contemporary world. Our Wednesday night programs are a combination of guests with a spiritual message or Bible study. Join us on Wednesday nights for a great night of fellowship and Christian growth.

Children: Our children (toddlers through 4th grade) are using the Hand's On Bible Curriculum from Group Publishing.

Middle School & High School - Dennis Stubbs leads the middle school and high school youth in a number of studies including current issues specific for that transition age group. The lessons relate scriptural guidance to current daily encounters and concerns. The format for these studies is group interaction with plenty of opportunities for discussion and questions. Most importantly, our goal is to create an environment of encouragement and acceptance for each and every youth who takes part in Sunday school and other activities at Grace Church. Adults: Our adult Sunday school curriculum varies with new sessions beginning about every quarter. We have no specific adult Sunday school classes, so members may choose the topic that is most relevant to their faith walk at that time. We usually repeat each session so the adults may select one class knowing they will not necessarily miss another they would like to take part in also.

You will definitely want to be a part of one of these wonderful studies!

Hearts of Grace is an outreach ministry for our entire community to provide acts of kindness in times of need. Hearts of Grace is not a financial ministry, but instead a ministry in which volunteers provide services to persons who may be sick, alone, or otherwise in need of help. Hearts of Grace provides, but is not limited to, some of the following services:

visiting/sitting with reading to light housework help making sure meals are prepared/available running small errands watering plants providing respite for caregivers

Adult Choir

Wally Shaw leads our adult choir, which is open to everyone who feels called to worship God through music. The choir practices each Wednesday at 7 p.m.

Children's Choir

Catheryn Shaw leads our children's choir, which practices each week on Monday afternoons.

Praise Band

We currently have a praise band that has added an exciting dimension to our worship of God through our music.
