Why we give?
We honor the Lord by putting Him above all else.
We financially support the mission and ministry of the church.
We recognize that all money is God’s, and we are stewards of His resources.

“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test Me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it.” – Malachi 3:10

A Lesson Learned?

Today is Mother's Day. I lieu of Sunday School, we will have Muffins for Moms in the Gathering Room starting at 9:30.

This week I will finish the Book of Jonah. It ends with an object lesson to Jonah. Also, there is no clear resolution. We do not know how Jonah responded to God’s lesson. In life there is always more wisdom to learn.
